Moussa Labbadi received the DEUST in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics (MIP) in 2014, the B.S. degree in Mechatronics from UH1, Settat, Morocco in 2015, the M.S. degree in Mechatronic Systems from UAE, Tetouan, Morocco in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automatic Control from EMI, UM5, Rabat, Morocco, in September 2020. He was a Researcher at MAScIR Foundation, Morocco, from 2020 to 2021, and subsequently served as an ATER in the Department of Automatic Control at INSA, LAMIH, and UPHF. He also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at INPG, GIPSA-lab, UGA. He is currently an Associate Professor at Aix-Marseille University and a member of the Laboratoire d’Informatique et Systèmes (LIS).His research focuses on Control Theory and applications, including the control of multi-stable systems, finite-time and fixed-time convergence, accelerated convergence methods, and PDE control and observation, with applications in drones, robotics, and avionics. An author of over 100 scientific publications with an h-index of 20, he serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering and the IEEE Conference on Control Technology and Applications (CCTA). He has been a guest researcher at INRIA Lille (by Denis Efimov), the University of Birmingham (by Sadegh Soudjani), and the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (by Rupak Majumdar and Sadegh Soudjani).
